McLing is happy to report that a SSHRC Partnership Development Grant was awarded to Jessica Coon, Alan Bale, and Michael Wagner, in partnership with the Listuguj Education Directorate and support from iLanguage Lab. The title of the three-year grant project is “Developing mobile learning applications for the Mi’gmaq language: New opportunities for language research and revitalization.” The funding will support Mi’gmaq linguistic research and language revitalization, as well as the development of digital tools for collaborative language work.
