McLing is happy to report that Justin Royer (PhD ’22) has recently accepted a tenure-track faculty position in syntax in the Département de Linguistique et de Traduction at Université de Montréal. Justin will finish up the second year of his Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship at UC Berkeley, and rejoin the Montreal linguistics community in June 2024.
