Postdoc Robert Henderson was recently at Cornell University where he was invited to comment on a paper at the Second Cornell Workshop in Linguistics and Philosophy. The thematic focus was on communicative acts, in particular, how to model imperatives, questions, assertions, non-at-issue assertions and their (un)embeddability under various operators.
