PhD student Gaurav Kamath was invited to this year’s St. Gallen Symposium, a symposium connecting current and future leaders from around the world in business, politics, science and civil society. As runner-up in the symposium’s annual essay competition, he spoke on the main stage in St. Gallen, Switzerland, on the topic of his essay: the legacy of open-sourced research in AI. In the process, he got to meet with people such as Sal Khan, of Khan Academy, and Keith Enright, Google’s Chief Privacy Officer.
