Sixth-year PhD student William Johnston has recently accepted a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Université du Québec à Montréal. The fellowship, which begins this fall, is funded by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture, and will be carried out under the supervision of Richard Compton. It focuses on the comparative syntax and semantics of lexical categories in Hmong and other languages.

Congratulations Will!
