This summer, PhD student Austin Kraft reunited with collaborators in Indonesia. They are pictured here in Pemalang, Central Java, and Ketapang, West Kalimantan. In July, Austin attended the Tokenization Workshop at the International Congress on Machine Learning (ICML) conference in Vancouver. To support his doctoral research, Austin was awarded a Vanier Scholarship by the Government of Canada.
